At the same time, the MI325X accelerator will be launched in the fourth quarter of 2024. In addition, AMD will introduce the MI350 chip series, which is expected to be available in 2025. The series will be based on a new chip architecture. The MI350 is expected to perform 35x better in inference (the process of computing generative AI responses) than the existing MI300 series artificial intelligence chips.
