Cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase has declared in a filing with the U.S. Court of Appeals that the Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) will continue to pursue an enforcement and regulatory approach to the cryptocurrency industry as far as possible in order to achieve its goal of "killing" the industry. The SEC is serious about the destruction of digital assets ", and the company is constantly pushing for the court to force the SEC to start writing fair rules for the crypto industry.
Nonetheless, the exchange argues that the agency does not seem willing to sit down and set clear, fair guidelines, and that giving it the opportunity to explain further is pointless and grossly unworthy.
