The third-party cryptocurrency wallet bot Wallet on Telegram has notified users of several updates to its KYC system, requiring account details (name, phone number, and date of birth) to be updated for all default functions except withdrawals starting June 3.
Wallet on Telegram also announced that as of May 30, 2024, the wallet service will be provided by WOT Global Solution. After the change, all user data will be transferred to WOT Global Solution.
The announcement states that the data collected includes names, addresses, phone numbers, transaction data, and any other user data the wallet may have.
