Y Combinator-backed talent tokenization startup Trendex announced the completion of a $4 million financing round, with participation from Real Madrid's "Golden Globe" winner Benzema and others. In addition, Trendex also acquired decentralized video and streaming platform Gummys to expand from sports to electronic sports and YouTube users. The specific amount of acquisition has not been disclosed. Trendex is also reported to have announced a partnership with NBA stars Marcus Smart of the Grizzlies and Rudy Gobert of the Timberwolves to explore the US market.
