Despite Trump's conviction on May 30, 2024, Polymarket users still expect him to be on track to win this November's election, which currently stands at 55%, compared to 39% for Biden, with bets close to $145 million.
It is understood that the US Constitution does not explicitly prohibit convicted felons from running for or serving as president. While Trump's conviction could result in up to four years in prison, it is widely believed that he will avoid prison for non-violent crimes.
