According to the official website of the Hong Kong Securities Supervision Commission, Bybit's application for a virtual asset trading platform license submitted to the Hong Kong Securities Supervision Commission was withdrawn on May 31.
The relevant information shows that the company name of the virtual asset trading platform operator submitted by Bybit is "Spark Fintech Limited", and the Chinese name is not applicable. Bybit first submitted an application for a virtual asset trading platform license to the Hong Kong Securities Supervision Commission on January 31, 2024.
So far, the number of applicants for the withdrawal and return of virtual asset trading platform licenses announced by the Hong Kong Securities Supervision Commission is 10, and 1 has been returned, and the number of applications for virtual asset trading platforms is 16.
