The Uniswap Foundation has postponed the UNI Token Pledge and Delegate Reward vote, which was originally scheduled for Friday, due to a stakeholder raising an issue that needed more attention. The Foundation said on social media platform X that they decided to postpone the vote due to the immutability and sensitivity of the proposal's escalation. The news caused the UNI price to drop 8.7 percent, and is currently trading at $10.20. The proposal, which is intended to compensate Uniswap pledgers and commissioners for investing in high-quality participation, was originally scheduled for May 31. The Foundation said it will keep the community informed of any major changes and will update when it has a clearer sense of the future timeline.
