According to the Times of Israel, US President Joe Biden unveiled the latest hostage deal proposal approved by Israel in recent days and urged Hamas to accept it. Biden described it as a roadmap for a durable ceasefire and the release of all hostages, which has been forwarded to Hamas by Qatar. "This new proposal is divided into three phases, the first of which will last six weeks. This will include a complete and complete ceasefire, the withdrawal of Israeli forces from all populated areas of Gaza, and the release of some hostages, including women, the elderly and the wounded, in exchange for the release of hundreds of Palestinian prisoners," Biden said, noting that the American hostages would be released in the first phase. In the six-week first phase, Israel and Hamas will "negotiate the necessary arrangements to move to the second phase of a permanent end to hostilities." In the second phase, all remaining living Israeli hostages will be released, including male soldiers. Israeli troops will also withdraw from Gaza during this phase. In the third phase, major reconstruction plans for Gaza will begin.
