On May 31, the 70th plenary meeting of the Shanghai Municipal Housing Provident Fund Management Committee deliberated and approved the "Notice on the Policies Concerning the Withdrawal and Repayment of Housing Provident Fund Loans in the Yangtze River Delta." According to the "Notice", starting from June 1, 2024, employees who use housing provident fund loans to purchase houses in Jiangsu Province, Zhejiang Province or Anhui Province meet the prescribed housing purchase conditions, and who have no housing provident fund loans or no entrusted withdrawal of housing provident fund to return housing loans in this city, the main lender and spouse can withdraw the balance of the housing provident fund account in this city to repay the provident fund loan.
