TON Market Cap Shrinks $7 billion After Fixing False Supply Data

The Open Network (TON) informed users in a Telegram message on Wednesday that the data aggregator will track the market value of TON tokens in a different way in the future, and will exclude TON tokens held by Telegram, the foundation and the TON Believers Fund in the future. According to CoinGecko data, as this change took effect, TON's market value instantly shrunk by more than 7 billion US dollars. According to the latest data from Coingecko, the current market value of TON is 15.486 billion US dollars, ranking 11th in the market.
