5月31日消息，Linea在X平台表示，Matter Labs是zkSync背后的实体公司，刚刚为“ZK”申请商标作为其独家知识产权。零知识（在我们的行业广泛称为 ZK）是一种由世界各地的研究人员共同创造的密码学研究领域。许多人通过zkEVM Layer 2网络来扩展以太坊的规模。使用法律框架主张对用于开发无需许可、分散的L2执行环境的密码学分支的所有权，违反了以太坊的开发原则和我们身处领域的公约。我们支持Starkware LTD的声明，认为Matter Labs应当恪守他们的使命，并撤回他们对ZK的商标申请。
