Turkish authorities have detained 127 suspects in a major cryptocurrency operation

On May 31st, Turkish authorities launched a crypto operation in 21 provinces of Ankara, detaining 127 suspects suspected of "international fraud through Ponzi schemes" and "crime and laundering of assets derived from crime." During the operation, authorities seized more than 177 immovable and 61 movable assets worth 1 billion Turkish lira. In addition, they also confiscated an unlicensed firearm, an empty shotgun and some crypto assets.
