Guofu Innovation plans to purchase cryptocurrency and subscribe to virtual asset funds

According to the announcement of Guofu Innovation (00290. HK), the board of directors hereby notifies shareholders and potential investors that the board has approved a budget of HKD 5 million for the group's investment in cryptocurrency and virtual asset funds within the next year from the announcement date. This budget will mainly be used for (a) purchasing cryptocurrency (mainly including Bitcoin (BTC)) on regulated and licensed trading platforms; And (b) subscribe to Hong Kong compliant virtual asset funds (i.e. virtual asset funds in which the fund manager is authorized to engage in Class 9 regulated activities under the Securities and Futures Ordinance and is approved to invest more than 10% of the total asset value of the investment portfolio in virtual assets or indirectly invest in virtual assets).
