Alex Gluchowski, founder of zkSync, said in response to the "trademark" dispute on X: "Trademarks exist to protect users, not companies. All trademarks we have registered, including those related to ZK, are defensive in order to prevent malicious actors from misleading their customers and confusing their products and services with those offered by Matter Labs. Unfortunately, this has happened in the past."
