HashRateIndex reports that Bitcoin's seven-day hash rate reached an all-time high of 659 EH/s, and according to data from Bitinfocharts, the average network hash rate reached an all-time high of 732 EH/s over the weekend.
HashRateIndex explains that the increase in hash rate may indicate that Bitcoin public miners are activating their ASIC orders as planned, which means more powerful hardware is being turned on, and competition will intensify as more hashes come online.
