Degen tweeted that in order to combat spam and reward engagement, the tipping system will be upgraded. Degen will distribute tips based on DEGEN holdings (minimum 10K), tipping behavior (5 times per week) and Farcaster user rankings, and will use OpenRank's global user rankings to select top users on Farcaster. After July, it will switch to Degen's local rankings based on channel activity and tipping behavior.
