On May 29th, Lenovo Group (00992.HK) announced that it has entered into a strategic cooperation framework agreement with Alat (a subsidiary of Saudi Arabia's sovereign wealth fund Public Investment Fund). The strategic cooperation framework agreement is a framework agreement for the comprehensive business cooperation between the company and Alat, aiming to expand the company's business in the Middle East and Africa. In addition to the strategic cooperation framework agreement, the company and Alat also entered into a bond subscription agreement, whereby the company will issue a zero-coupon convertible bond of 2 billion US dollars to Alat.
