According to documents released by Mt. Gox, Mt. Gox confirmed the transfer of bitcoins to unknown addresses in order to prepare for repayment ahead of the October 31 creditor repayment deadline. It was previously reported that Mt. Gox wallet addresses have transferred more than 107,000 bitcoins, worth about $7 billion, to unknown addresses, possibly as part of a plan to repay creditors by October 31, 2024.
