LayerEdge, a Bitcoin infrastructure ecosystem project, announced the completion of its Pre-Seed round of financing on the X platform, with the participation of Blockchain Founders Fund, Founderheads.VC, BreakOrbit VC, Mormie Capital, and two angel investors, Paul Taylor and Saushank.eth. The specific financing amount and valuation data have not been disclosed yet. LayerEdge enhances the functionality of Bitcoin by leveraging Optimistic Rollups and a hybrid modular data availability (DA) layer to improve transaction efficiency and functionality. It integrates the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) environment to provide developers with a framework to create and manage decentralized applications, which in turn enhances the programmability and scalability of Bitcoin.
