Dabba, a decentralized physical infrastructure network (Depin), has announced that it will deploy 10,000 new Wi-Fi hotspots worldwide, with the aim of improving internet access in underserved regions of India.
The initiative, dubbed the second quarter of the Dabba service rollout, will bring internet solutions to areas with high data demand, especially rural and semi-urban areas in India. Despite the high number of internet users in India, about 44% of the population is still offline, indicating the huge gap in digital connectivity that Dabba is trying to bridge.
