According to a recent survey by Preply, as many as three-fifths (60%) of U.S. cryptocurrency investors are unaware of blockchain technology. The study found that while 41% expressed interest in learning about cryptocurrencies, Generation Z had the smallest percentage of people willing to learn. The report also noted that U.S. residents who invest in NFTs are also likely to invest in cryptocurrencies.
The study also found that interest in digital assets other than cryptocurrencies varies across generations. For example, 12% of millennials surveyed said they had invested in NFTs, compared to just 4% of baby boomers.
The report notes that U.S. residents who invest in NFTs also tend to invest in cryptocurrencies, suggesting that this could be a first step towards exploring other digital assets.
