5月25日消息，链上数据显示，约 50 分钟前，以太坊联合创始人 Vitalik Buterin 作为区块提议者在 Taiko 主网 propose 了首个区块，并在该区块附言称：「我很高兴看到 Taiko 作为一个 Based Rollup 平台而推出，以太坊受益于采用多种不同方法的 L2s，我很欣赏 Taiko 是第一批朝这个方向发展的项目」（I'm excited to see that Taiko is launching as a based rollup. Ethereum benefits from L2s taking a plurality of different approaches, and I appreciate them being among the first to go in this direction）。
