Delphi Digital: BF-FRI makes L1 verification more efficient

On May 25th, Delphi Digital, a research institution in the cryptocurrency field, recently released a special research report entitled "The Dawn of Bitcoin Programmability: Paving the Way for Rollups". The research report made a detailed analysis of the technology and development status of Rollup in the Bitcoin ecosystem. Among them, Delphi Digital focused on the solutions and technical features of Bitcoin's native two-layer network Bitlayer in the project introduction section, including the zkSTARK proof system and the original Bitcoin-Friendly FRI component, the BitVM2-based challenge mechanism and the OP-DLC dual-channel asset bridge. According to the report, Bitlayer's original Bitcoin-Friendly FRI has reduced the number of states that need to be disclosed by two-thirds, which may make L1 verification more efficient.
