Aegis Custody: Discussions between Hong Kong ETF issuers and regulators on ether staking are healthy

Serra Wei, CEO of Aegis Custody, which provides custody technology solutions for local banks in Hong Kong, said that discussions between Hong Kong ETF issuers and regulators on ether pledges have been healthy, adding that this would be in line with the local regulatory system. Serra Wei, who was not involved in the discussions with the Hong Kong Securities Supervision Commission, believes that including the pledge in the spot ether ETF will be a milestone event for Hong Kong.
