The UAE Agricultural Authority has banned farmers from cryptocurrency mining on farms

The Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority in the United Arab Emirates has told farmers that farms cannot be used as mining sites for cryptocurrency. The government entities said such activity is considered "misuse of farms for purposes other than their intended use". Additionally, violators of this rule face penalties of up to 10,000 UAE dirhams (approximately $2,722).
