David Lefkowitz, head of U.S. equities at UBS Global Wealth Management, raised his year-end target for the S & P 500 to 5,500 from 5,000 and set a 12-month target of 5,600 for the first time. "The current environment remains supportive, with the four key positive drivers for equities remaining largely in place: solid earnings growth, lower inflation, a shift in Fed policy and a surge in artificial intelligence investment," Lefkowitz wrote in a note on Thursday.
