HSBC is advancing to become the first bank in Hong Kong to issue digital currency

Bojan Obradovic, Digital Director of HSBC Hong Kong, stated that HSBC hopes to become a part of the development of digital assets in Hong Kong and become the first bank in Hong Kong to issue digital currency. The bank is advancing this plan. Boyang continued that HSBC strives to bring buyers and sellers to Hong Kong, provide marketing and products, become true market makers, and facilitate transactions. He stated that the bank is collaborating with all industry participants as well as the public and private sectors to help achieve this goal as soon as possible.
