According to Walter Bloomberg, FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried is being transferred to a new prison by federal officials, although he wants to stay in New York to prepare an appeal. A spokesperson said Bankman-Fried's destination could not be confirmed, but people familiar with the matter said he was recently told he would be transferred to a federal prison in Mendota, California.
