比特元宇宙(08645.HK)公布，香港证券及期货事务监察委员会于2023年5月17日已接纳Bitcoin World Technology Limited(集团旗下一间全资附属公司)提交有关进行第1类(证券交易)及第7类(提供自动化交易服务)受规管活动的牌照申请。
鉴于近年来虚拟资产在全球及香港的迅速发展，董事会认为，在取得所需监管批准的前提下，Bitcoin World营运虚拟资产交易平台符合集团为投资者提供更为多元化服务的策略，亦将创造机会使集团各种业务线之间产生协同效应，从而为集团开拓新的收入来源。
