According to YCharts, grey release ETHE's discount to net asset value fell to -6.7% as of yesterday's close, the lowest since December 2021, due to optimism about the prospect of the US SEC approving a spot Ethereum ETF. The narrowing discount could be seen as an indicator of the likelihood of a spot Ethereum ETF being approved, with investors appearing to buy discount stocks ahead of a potential ETF conversion, as was the case before grey release Bitcoin Trust (GBTC) converted to an ETF in January.
