ALEX: Working with legal counsel and local law enforcement to recover stolen assets, a treasury grant program is being developed

On May 22nd, the Bitcoin ecosystem project ALEX said that it is working closely with legal counsel and local law enforcement to help recover ALEX community assets stolen by the attackers. The team is monitoring the movement of assets in wallets suspected to be related to the attackers. All other tokens are safe except for the frozen accounts of various CEXs currently and the 13.80 million STXs in the attackers' on-chain wallets. In addition, ALEX is working on a vault grant program to support users whose assets have been stolen by attackers and remain unrecovered. Eligibility requirements for the program will be announced soon.
