The Department of Justice has revealed that the US federal government has successfully cracked down on the dark web drug market Incognito Market, which involved cryptocurrency transactions of up to $80 million. According to the Department of Justice, the market promoted the sale of a variety of illegal drugs, its key market managers have been arrested, and the market has accumulated transactions of $100 million. Of that, $80 million is cryptocurrencies, mainly Bitcoin and privacy-conscious Monero (XMR).
