Lido discloses security incident regarding Numic, an Ethereum node operator, without affecting user funds

Lido Finance said on the X platform that on May 14, Lido DAO contributors learned of the existence of a security bugs that affected active node operators using Lido on the Ethereum protocol (Numic). The security bugs occurred a few days ago and affected a developer machine that had access to backups of cryptographic key material for the mainnet validator. It is not clear if the encrypted key material was accessed, copied, or otherwise manipulated, or if decrypted material for that data was discovered, or if the encryption was broken.
