TBD, the bitcoin subsidiary of Block, the Jack Dorsey business, has partnered with African cross-border mobile money transfer service Chipper Cash to accelerate its global cross-border transfer business. Chipper Cash, headquartered in San Francisco, is an African cross-border transfer service provider, mainly for countries in the African region. The partnership announced on Tuesday brings the number of African countries where Block has benefited from its technology to 40, Mike Brock, chief executive of TBD, said in an interview in Accra, the capital of Ghana.
