US stocks close: Nasdaq hits new high, Faraday Future rises 74%

May 21 news, U.S. stocks closed on Monday, the Dow initially closed down 190 points or 0.48%, the S & P 500 index rose slightly, the Nasdaq index rose 0.65% and hit a new closing high. Faraday Future (FFIE. O) closed up 74%, Novax Pharmaceutical (NVAX. O) rose 13%, JPMorgan Chase (JPM. N) fell more than 4%. Nasdaq China Golden Dragon index closed down 1.68%, Li Auto (LI. O) fell nearly 13%, iQIYI (IQ. O) fell 5%.
