According to the proposal, significant internal achievements and external developments have taken place since the Lido DAO approved the 2024 target on November 2, 2023, notably the rise of the Ethereum offering debate and re-staking.
The scale of these developments raises questions about the DAO strategy and whether it remains the best course of action, or whether it should be revisited. The proposal suggests which parts of the GOOSE (Guided Open Objective Setting Exercise) objectives of the Lido DAO should be changed and left unchanged.
