Ripple's Q1 XRP Market Report shows that the number of XRP Ledger (XRPL) transactions more than doubled in Quarter 1 2024 compared to the previous quarter, while the average transaction cost was almost cut in half. XRPL on-chain transaction activity increased by 108% in Quarter 1 2024, with about 251.39 million transactions compared to 121.03 million transactions in Q4 2023. In addition, the average cost per transaction decreased by 45% to about $0.000856.
