Coinbase Institutional Research Analyst David Han said in a May 15 report that the main factor that led the SEC to approve a spot Bitcoin ETF is the correlation between the CME futures product and the spot exchange rate, which could also lead to its approval of a spot Ethereum ETF. The likelihood of the SEC approving a spot Ethereum ETF by the end of this month is between 30% and 40%.
