The three major U.S. stock indexes ended up mixed, the Dow rose 0.35%, the Nasdaq fell 0.07%, the S & P 500 rose 0.12%, popular technology stocks rose and fell, Nvidia fell nearly 2%, Tesla, Google rose more than 1%. Precious metals, industrial metals and mining sectors led the gains, while semiconductors and solar panels fell.
