In response to X user Liron Shapira's view that Farcaster messages are stored on hubs that do not use blockchain technology, and Farcaster is not a true blockchain use case, Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin responded by stating that Farcaster requests are stored in a CRDT, and their goal is to achieve ultimate consistency in the message set. The only "chain" used by Farcaster is Ethereum (through Optimism).
