On May 17, Linea, the Ethereum L2 network, tweeted that it has launched the first Volt of Linea Surge, which aims to promote the development of the ecosystem by attracting more users and increasing TVL on the network. LineaSurge is a points-driven program where users can earn LXP-L tokens by holding assets on Linea and deploying them to the DeFi protocol on the network.
The program will run for 6 installments (6 months) or until TVL reaches $3 billion. The distribution of each installment of LXP-L will be reduced by 10% and early adopters will receive additional benefits. Additionally, the liquidity deployed by users must be greater than or equal to $24 in a single agreement for credits to be calculated.
