The decentralized finance wallet company Fordefi has obtained crime and cyber threat insurance from German operator Munich Re.
The insured amount was not disclosed, but in addition to the general insured amount of the Fordefi wallet, which uses a clever key-sharing feature known as Multi-Party Computing (MPC), customers can also receive additional insured amounts from Munich Re depending on their individual circumstances.
