Binance's new algorithm has helped BNB detect more than 13.40 million spoofed blockchain addresses and helped Ethereum detect more than 1.68 million spoofed blockchain addressBinance's algorithm detects spoofed addresses by first identifying suspicious transfers, such as those with near-zero value or unknown tokens, pairing them with potential victim addresses, and timestamping malicious transactions to find potential poisoning points.
According to Binance's report, these spoofed addresses are registered in the database of Binance's security partner Web3 security firm HashDit, which will help protect the wider cryptocurrency industry from poisoning scams.
