The World Bank will issue Swiss digital bonds settled in wholesale CBDCs

The World Bank has announced that it has priced a CHF 200 million digital bond to be issued on the SIX Digital Exchange (SDX) on June 11 and settled using the CHF wholesale central bank digital currency (wholesale CBDC). As part of Project Helvetia, the Swiss National Bank (SNB) is currently piloting its wholesale CBDC on the SDX DLT platform.
