Maersk charges destination congestion fee on Far East to Cape Town, South Africa

On May 16th, Maersk announced on its official website that it will impose a destination congestion charge (CFD) on the Far East to Cape Town, South Africa, effective May 15, 2024. The effective date of the CFD for the Vietnam to Cape Town route is June 1, 2024, and the effective date of the CFD for the Taiwan to Cape Town route is June 15, 2024.
