According to Anhui Daily, the Political and Legal Committee of the Anhui Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial Market Supervision Bureau, and the Provincial Public Security Department jointly issued a notice to launch a province-wide crackdown on pyramid schemes "Wanjian-2024" from May 13 to December 10, which will focus on investigating and punishing under the banner of "blockchain", "meta-universe" and "digital asset transactions", and carry out mining currency chain-connected network pyramid selling activities such as virtual currency, mining machines, blockchain, and foreign exchange speculation.
