US stock closing: Alibaba slightly up, Tesla up nearly 3%

The US stock market closed on Tuesday, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average closing down 30 points or 0.09%, the S&P 500 index down 0.28%, and the Nasdaq down 0.4%. Apple (AAPL. O) closed 0.6% lower, Tesla (TSLA. O) rose 2.9%, NVDA. O fell more than 2%, and Trump's Trump Media closed 16% higher on its first day. The Nasdaq China Golden Dragon Index closed down 0.55%, Alibaba (BABA. N) rose slightly, and Douyu (DOYU. O) fell 9%.
