UK Investment Association Report Explores Fund Tokenization and Other Fields

The second report of the Technical Working Group of the Government Asset Management Working Group, released by the Investment Association of the UK (IA), explores two use cases of fund tokenization and three other areas. Most research on fund tokenization focuses on the tokenization of fund units, but some asset management companies are also considering investing funds in tokenized securities, which may lead to convertible funds and greater customization. The report mentions that Schroders and Calastone in the UK are exploring this concept as part of the Singapore Guardian Program.
