5月15日消息，由于美国 SEC 极有可能不会批准两项现货以太坊 ETF 申请，以太坊期权交易员正在为月底的波动做准备。5 月 23 日和 5 月 24 日是 SEC 决定是否批准 VanEck 和 ArkInvest/21 Shares 分别提交的现货以太坊 ETF 申请的最后期限。
据 Wintermute 场外交易交易员 Jake Ostrovskis 称，目前市场认为这些 ETF 在 5 月底前获得批准的几率只有 16%。其补充称，以太坊期权隐含波动率可能在月底前上升，尤其是在 SEC 预计将就以太坊现货 ETF 做出决定前后。
