On May 15, Deutsche Bank partnered with Interop Labs (the original development team of Axelar Network) to join the Project Guardian "Guardian Program" sponsored by the Monetary Authority of Singapore, which aims to develop new standards for blockchain interoperability and asset tokenization.
"Secure blockchain interoperability is necessary to unlock the trillion-dollar potential of asset tokenization, and Axelar is a critical infrastructure for institutional adoption," said Sergey, CEO of Interop Labs. Axelar has previously worked with JPMorgan's digital asset platforms Onyx and Apollo to successfully experiment with how to use smart contracts to manage client portfolios at scale.
